Unveiling the Journey of Senior Trainer Andrea Bergh

At Studio AnnaMora, there are individuals who embody the essence of movement and weave stories of transformation and empowerment through their practice. Andrea Bergh, a seasoned Senior Trainer, is a luminary whose journey through Pilates reflects resilience, compassion, and a profound commitment to holistic well-being.

Sparked by a friend’s recommendation, Andrea was introduced to Pilates in 1997. What started as a physical challenge soon evolved into a profound exploration of mind-body integration. Despite intermittent breaks, Andrea found herself consistently drawn back to Pilates and Anna Mora’s instruction, recognizing its ability to instill strength and empowerment.

Her path to becoming a trainer is paved with personal revelations and a deep-seated desire to delve into the intricacies of movement. Following the birth of her son, Andrea confronted health issues, compelling her to recommit to her Pilates practice with unwavering determination. During this journey, she discovered her passion for teaching, driven by a fervent desire to share the transformative power of Pilates with others.

One encounter with a grieving woman in her class left an indelible mark on Andrea’s teaching philosophy. Witnessing the healing potential of movement, she provided a haven for the woman to navigate her grief and eventually rediscover joy through dance. This experience epitomized Andrea’s ethos – to create inclusive spaces where individuals can explore their bodies, emotions, and stories without judgment or inhibition.

Andrea delved into various methodologies as her teaching evolved, from the Franklin Method to the Functional Movement, enriching her understanding of human anatomy and kinetics. Embracing the interconnectedness of body and mind, she became a Reiki practitioner, tapping into intuitive cues to guide her clients toward embodied awareness and self-discovery.

Beyond her role as a Pilates trainer, Andea’s eclectic background – from engineering studies to fashion modeling – imbues her teaching practice with a unique perspective. Her innate curiosity and love for science infuse her approach to movement, fostering a dynamic blend of technical precision and creative expression.

In the re:MOVE at Studio AnnaMora workshops, led by Andrea Bergh, participants are invited on a journey of self-exploration, where movement becomes a conduit for personal growth and transformation.
