Pre/Post Natal

Pilates Post Natal & Beyond

Female Body Empowerment

We designed this class for all women who have given birth and want to re-own and enjoy their bodies. Think of issues like loss of core control, incontinence, loss of sexual joy & simply restarting your movement practice.

If you have given birth recently, a year ago or even longer: you experience that you and your body have undergone many changes in a relatively short period of time. This class is for anyone who wants to re-own pelvic stability, gain strength & alignment and connect to your body by moving with intention.

Feel safe and supported by the warm teaching of a fellow mother (of three children!). Willemijn guides with precision and expertise from her own post – birth recovery experience.

We developed tailor made exercises which work on breathing techniques, spinal and lower extremity alignment, anatomical changes which occurred during pregnancy, correct sitting and standing postures and spinal stabilisation principles.

Why

  • You want to (re)start your movement practise
  • Own & enjoy your own body
  • Build core control
  • Learn breathing techniques
  • Better Posture

New on our schedule as of Tuesday April 9, 2024 at 10:30am

How often should I do Pilates to see results?

This question comes up a lot when people are just beginning Pilates training. And well, the answer is: there is no good answer to this question! EveryBODY is different and needs varying levels of training to see their desired results.

A good rule to stand by: it’s important to move everyday, whether this is just going for a walk outside or joining a Pilates Class here at the studio. Our recommendation is to add Pilates into your movement routine 2-3 times per week. But we know you’re busy and sometimes this is too much. So remember, once you cultivate a practise of intentional movement principles, any movement you do creates a positive impact on your health & wellbeing.
